A different story line ...a little hard to follow in the beginning.
Always well thought out story plot. So I do hope she continues writing.
Once I got into the book, it was a great read. It was a slow read for the first few chapters. I like civil war books, so I ended up enjoying it.
Loved the story. Enjoyed the history. Found myself going to the internet constantly to read more history. I love this author.
I love Karen White's books. This one is very different than the others I've read, but it was great, as they all are! Moving on the her next book!!
Wondered why this seemed so familiar. I had to go back through all the Karen White titles I’ve purchased (and there were a lot!). There was a September 2016 release of Spinning the Moon which included In the Shadow of the Moon and Whispers of Goodbye. Loved both but didn’t want to purchase a second time!
I really enjoy time travel and historical fiction. This is one of the best I have read. It is difficult to find well researched, well written works for the adult reader so this was a find
Not much I can say that hasn't already been said about this wonderful author. Whether it's her Tradd Street series, or stand alone books, I am engrossed from Page One. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
